DESCRIPTION

The ARJ-146 is an RJ45 1000 Base-T jack with an integrated magnetic module and PoE capability designed for high-speed Ethernet applications. It features a 1CT:1CT turn ratio with a minimum inductance of 350 µH at 100 kHz with 8 mA bias current, providing high performance for maximum EMI suppression across four channels. The connector is compliant with IEEE 802.3af standard and rated for 15W, 350 mA at 48V PoE, with insertion loss ranging from -19 dB to -1.2 dB across 0.1–80 MHz and return loss of -12 dB at 30–60 MHz. The device offers enhanced reliability with 5000 mating/unmating cycles and operates over a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. It is ideal for network interface cards (NICs), LAN-on-motherboard (LoM) applications, and PC connectivity, compatible with leading PHY IC manufacturers such as Broadcom, Marvell, and Microsemi.
