DESCRIPTION

ATK185 is an accessory or component designed for use with ABB softstarter systems. ABB softstarters protect AC electric motors from damage caused by sudden influxes of power by limiting the large initial inrush of current associated with motor startup. The softstarter product line includes models covering motor applications from 3A to 1810A, with features such as torque control, pump cleaning, built-in bypass contactor, and overload protection.
