DESCRIPTION

The 4627-S is a short-version Pull 'N' Shrink tubing designed for mechanical and environmental protection of coaxial cable connectors used in aerial, buried, or underground plant installations. Specifically engineered for splice connections to taps, amplifiers, and splitters, this tubing accommodates cable outer conductor diameters of 0.412 inches (10.5 mm) and provides a tubing length of 7.0 inches (178 mm ±0.13). The product seals connections to unjacketed cable by building sealing collars using Scotch All-Weather Vinyl Plastic Communications Tape 88T, with a recommended outer diameter range of 0.50 inches (12.7 mm) to 1.12 inches (28.4 mm). The 4627-S is RoHS compliant and offers reliable protection for CATV and telecommunications infrastructure where connector sealing and environmental protection are essential.
