DESCRIPTION

The 3448-3026 is a plastic strain relief accessory for 26-position 3M 3000 Series wiremount IDC sockets. It is designed to work with connectors that accept .050" pitch flat cable or discrete wires. This strain relief provides mechanical support to the cable, isolating the insulation displacement contact (IDC) interface from stress and strain. Using this component increases the reliability and longevity of the cable assembly by protecting the termination points.
