DESCRIPTION

The 3421-6620 is a 20-position wiremount socket from the 3M 3000 series, designed for reliable termination of .050" pitch flat cable or discrete wires using insulation-displacement contact (IDC) technology. This model features an open-end cover suitable for daisy-chaining, along with both centerbump and military-style polarization to ensure proper mating. It is engineered to accept 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded wire and features gold-plated copper alloy contacts for dependable connectivity. The socket's design, including positive locking metal J-clips for cover retention, makes it ideal for mating with 3M headers and plugs in applications requiring quick connect/disconnect capabilities.
