DESCRIPTION

The TC4429MJA is a 6A peak, single-output, inverting MOSFET driver designed for efficient, low-power operation. It operates over a wide input supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and features a high peak output current of 6A, allowing it to drive highly capacitive loads up to 10,000 pF. The device has CMOS/TTL-compatible inputs that can withstand negative swings up to -5V, and its output swing is rail-to-rail. Key performance characteristics include matched rise and fall times of 25 ns and a typical propagation delay of 55 ns. With its wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, this driver is suitable for applications like switch-mode power supplies, motor controls, and pulse transformer drivers.
