DESCRIPTION

The SML-LXL1209SIC-TR is a super intensity red LED featuring a 632 nm peak wavelength and water-clear epoxy lens, housed in a compact 3.2 mm (L) × 2.4 mm (W) × 2.6 mm (H) SML surface-mount package. Operating at a forward current of 20 mA, it delivers 415 mcd luminous intensity with a forward voltage of 2.0 V typical (1.7–2.4 V range) and a 20° viewing angle (2× theta1/2). The device is rated for peak forward currents up to 60 mA (1/10 duty at 1 kHz) and continuous forward currents up to 25 mA, with a maximum reverse voltage of 5 V and power dissipation of 60 mW. It operates reliably across -40 °C to +90 °C and is supplied on tape and reel in RoHS-compliant packaging. This LED is ideal for status indicators, backlighting, and display applications in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive systems.
