DESCRIPTION

V8D1S00B-AZB00-000 is a sealed rocker switch from the Carling Technologies V-Series Contura line, engineered for demanding applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing protection and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with silver and gold contacts rated for mixed flowing gas (MFG) Class III corrosion resistance per ASTM B-827 and B-845. It has been extensively tested to meet MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490 standards, including vibration (per MIL-Std 202F Method 204D at 10G's, 10-500 Hz), shock (30G's per MIL-Std 202F Method 213B), salt spray (96 hours per MIL-Std 202F Method 101D), and thermal shock (-55°C to +85°C per MIL-Std 202F Method 107F). This switch is ideal for on/off-highway vehicles, marine vessels, armored vehicles, mining machinery, and any application requiring superior sealing protection and corrosion resistance in extreme conditions.
