DESCRIPTION

DS2F5CQ1 is an interlock pushbutton switch from the DS Series designed for reliable circuit control and detection applications. It features a snap-in mounting style with a snap action mechanism available in both SPDT and DPDT configurations, offering latch or momentary operation modes. The switch operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with a dielectric strength of 1500 V (50-60 Hz at sea level) and an insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum, ensuring robust electrical performance. Key specifications include an initial contact resistance of 30 milliohms, operating forces ranging from 385 gf to 750 gf depending on button style and configuration, and electrical life ratings up to 100,000 cycles. The housing is constructed from PA 66/6 halogen-free material (UL94V-0) with silver alloy contacts gold-plated over silver alloy, making it suitable for interlock switches, detection switches, and circuit interrupt applications in industrial and consumer electronics.
