DESCRIPTION

The 8168SHV6QE2 is an SPDT momentary pushbutton switch from the 8060 Series, featuring silver contact material with matte-tin terminal plating and an epoxy seal for compatibility with bottom wash cleaning. This switch is rated for 6 AMPS @ 120 V AC or 28 V DC, with a contact resistance below 20 mO typical at 2-4 V DC and 100 mA, and an electrical life of 50,000 make-and-break cycles at full load. The switch operates over a temperature range of -30°C to 65°C and provides a dielectric strength of 1,000 Vrms minimum at sea level, with an insulation resistance of 10? O minimum. It features a snap-in front mount actuator with a black cap color and is designed for panel mounting with a thickness range of 0.047" to 0.125". Common applications include instrumentation, computers and peripherals, and telecommunications and networking equipment, where reliable momentary switching action is required.
