DESCRIPTION

The 142-0701-306 is an RF connector jack assembly designed for high-frequency applications requiring reliable RF performance and mechanical durability. It features a withstanding voltage of 670 VRMS at 4 and 7 MHz, with contact resistance specifications of 3.0 milliohm maximum initially and 4.0 milliohm maximum after environmental testing for the center contact. The connector is constructed with 60/40 tin/lead dipped solder plate on mounting leads and center contact, with beryllium copper and brass components finished in gold or silver plating depending on the variant. Mechanical specifications include a mating torque of 7–10 inch-pounds, coupling proof torque of 15 inch-pounds minimum, contact retention of 6 lbs minimum axial force, and durability rated for 500 cycles minimum. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and meets MIL-STD-202 environmental standards for thermal shock, corrosion, shock, and vibration. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and telecommunications applications where high-frequency signal integrity and environmental robustness are critical.
