DESCRIPTION

The 131-6701-346 is a rack and panel mount blackhead SMC jack assembly designed for RF connector applications. It features brass body and base components with nickel plating (0.001 MN over 0.0005 MN copper), Teflon insulators, and phosphor bronze washers, providing excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The assembly operates at a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum, and maintains contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum for the center contact and 1 milliohm maximum for the outer conductor. It is rated for 500 cycles minimum durability with a mating torque of 35–50 inch-ounces and contact retention of 4 lbs minimum axial force, operating reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C. This connector is ideal for military and aerospace applications requiring robust RF interconnection with high reliability and environmental stability.
