DESCRIPTION

The 131-6701-341 is a jack assembly designed for RA (right-angle) PC mount blackhead SMC applications. The assembly features a multi-component construction with brass bodies and bases plated with cold plating 0.0001 MN over nickel plating 0.0005 MN over copper plating 0.0005 MN, brass contacts with similar plating specifications, and Teflon insulators for electrical isolation. The washer is constructed from phosphor bronze with matching plating, and the nut is brass with the same plating finish. The assembly is rated for a maximum mating torque of 35–50 inch-ounces, a disengagement torque of 16 inch-pounds maximum, and contact retention of 4 lbs minimum axial force, with a durability rating of 500 cycles minimum. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 165°C, and the assembly meets environmental standards including thermal shock (ML-STD-202 Method 107 Condition B), corrosion resistance (ML-STD-202 Method 101 Condition B), shock (ML-STD-202 Method 213 Condition C), and vibration (ML-STD-202 Method 204 Condition D). This connector is suitable for military and aerospace applications requiring reliable, durable interconnection in demanding thermal and mechanical environments.
