DESCRIPTION

The 127-2701-801 is an SMP smooth bore surface mount end launch RF connector designed for high-frequency applications up to 18 GHz with a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. The connector features a beryllium copper body and contacts with gold plating (0.00005 inch minimum) over nickel and copper layers, combined with a Teflon insulator for reliable RF performance. It is rated for a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VRMS minimum, and maintains an insulation resistance of 5000 megohm minimum. The interface design conforms to MIL-STD-348A Series SMP specifications, with mechanical engagement and disengagement forces of 2 lbs maximum and 0.5 lbs minimum respectively, and supports 1000 durability cycles minimum. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to 165°C and meeting environmental standards per DSCC DWG No. 94007, this connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and high-reliability RF applications requiring robust performance in demanding conditions.
