DESCRIPTION

MS3106E14S-6S is a MIL-C-5015 Series I circular connector designed as a straight plug with socket gender and threaded coupling. It features 6 contacts of size 16S with solder cup termination and hard silver plating, housed in an aluminum alloy shell with olive drab chromate coating over cadmium plating. The connector is rated for 22 A at +20°C with a contact resistance of 6 mO, and operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with an insulator resistance exceeding 1000 MO. It meets IP65 protection standards, withstands 500 hours of salt spray resistance, and supports a minimum of 500 mating cycles with a coupling torque of 3.6 Nm maximum for closing. This connector is widely used in military and aerospace applications requiring reliable, high-performance circular connections in harsh environments.
