DESCRIPTION

The MS3102E22-22P is a circular MIL-DTL 5015 Series I connector designed for military and industrial applications requiring reliable high-current interconnection. It features a pin gender configuration with shell size 22, 4 contacts of size 8 arranged in a 22'-22'- pattern, and solder cup termination with hard silver plating for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance. The connector is rated for 74 A per contact at +20 °C with a contact resistance of 1 mO, a test voltage of 1600 Vrms, and an insulation resistance exceeding 1000 MO. It operates across an ambient temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C, maintains IP65 sealing per DIN 40 050, and demonstrates 500-hour salt spray resistance with a minimum of 500 mating cycles. The aluminum alloy shell with olive drab chromate coating over cadmium plating, combined with neoprene insulator and gromet materials, ensures durability in harsh environments. Common applications include aerospace, military equipment, and industrial power distribution systems where sealed, high-reliability circular connectors are essential.
