DESCRIPTION

MDM-51PBSP-A174 is a 51-contact Micro-D PCB connector plug designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. It features a metal shell with electroless nickel finish (A174), straight board mount (BS) termination, and jackpost (P) mounting hardware for use with locking hardware. The connector utilizes Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material and offers 0.050" contact spacing with a .100" x .100" grid pattern termination. Key electrical specifications include dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. This connector is suitable for flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit board applications requiring robust environmental performance including thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C and vibration resistance up to 20 G's.
