DESCRIPTION

MDM-37SCBRM7TL58 is a 37-contact socket (receptacle) Micro-D PCB connector designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. It features a condensed right angle (CBR) termination type with a 0.100" x 0.100" thru-hole staggered grid pattern, Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material, and a metal shell with grounding backshell (M7 Mil-Spec jackpost mounting). The connector includes threaded inserts (#2-56 thread) for PCB mounting and a modified termination tail length of 0.375" (9.52 mm). Key electrical specifications include dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 10 milliohms maximum at 1 milliamp. This connector is ideal for flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit board applications requiring robust environmental performance including thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C and vibration resistance up to 20 G's.
