DESCRIPTION
MDM-21SBRPL56 is a 21-contact socket (receptacle) Micro-D PCB connector from ITT Cannon's MDM-PCB series, designed for high-density interconnect applications. It features a right angle (BR) PCB termination configuration with jackpost (P) mounting hardware and a modified termination tail length of 0.150" (3.81 mm) per the L56 code. The connector utilizes a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material and offers 0.050" contact spacing in a metal shell construction. Key electrical specifications include dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. This connector is ideal for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, printed circuit boards, and multi-layer boards in board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications requiring high reliability.
