DESCRIPTION

M24308/24-25Z is a subminiature rectangular connector plug featuring 9 signal contacts, designed to meet MIL-C-24308 specifications for demanding aerospace and ground support equipment applications. The connector features a rugged aluminum shell with cadmium plating and yellow chromate supplementary coating, combined with a peripheral seal to provide superior vibration and moisture resistance. Contacts are copper alloy with gold plating (0.00002 inch minimum over 0.00004 inch nickel), available in solder or crimp configurations with field-proven LITTLE CAESAR® rear insertion and rear-release retention system. The connector is supplied with nylon potting cups and dust caps for environmental protection. This connector is not intermateable with other D Subminiature connectors, making it ideal for specialized aerospace, missile, and ground support equipment where rugged performance and environmental sealing are critical requirements.
