DESCRIPTION

M24308/23-28F is a subminiature rectangular D-series connector plug conforming to MIL-C-24308 specifications, featuring a DC shell size with 37 contacts for high-density signal transmission. The connector is constructed with a rugged aluminum shell cadmium plated with yellow chromate supplementary coating, and incorporates a peripheral seal to provide superior vibration and moisture resistance characteristics essential for demanding aerospace environments. Solder-type contacts are copper alloy with gold plating over nickel, factory-installed and non-removable, with nylon potting cups and dust caps provided as standard. The connector is designed for front or rear mounting configurations and is not intermateable with other D subminiature connector series, ensuring proper system integration in aircraft, missile, and ground support equipment applications.
