DESCRIPTION

The CTA4-IS-60 is a socket insulator component for CENTI-LOC strip connectors designed for commercial applications in instrumentation, communications, and medical equipment. This nylon socket insulator accommodates 60 rear insertion, front release, crimp snap-in size 22 CENTISOCKET contacts with a contact center spacing of 0.100 inch (2.54 mm). The insulator features a resilient internal shoulder that retains contacts in a locking groove, providing positive contact alignment and additional contact strength during mating operations. The connector assembly measures 6.031 inches (153.19 mm) maximum length with a maximum height of 0.115 inch (2.92 mm), and weighs approximately 0.241 ounces (6.90 grams). This socket insulator is ideal for applications requiring reliable, low-cost interconnection solutions with proven positive contact alignment design.
