DESCRIPTION

The AL6Q-M14-Y is an LED-illuminated square pushbutton switch designed for momentary operation in the IDEC A6 Series of 16mm miniature switches and pilot devices. It features a square lens format with SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) contact configuration, gold-clad silver contacts for reliable low-level switching, and a maximum voltage rating of 250V AC/DC with a thermal current of 3A. The switch is available in an oiltight (IP65) version, providing watertight and oiltight protection suitable for harsh industrial environments. The LED illumination operates at 12V AC/DC (as indicated by the "4" voltage code in the part number designation), includes a built-in current-limiting resistor and reverse polarity protection diode, and is rated for 50,000 hours of continuous operation. This switch is ideal for control panels, machinery interfaces, and industrial automation applications requiring visual feedback and reliable momentary switching in dusty or wet conditions.
