DESCRIPTION

The S7251-45R is an SMT spring contact designed for surface-mount PCB applications, featuring a 1.50 mm nominal height with a recommended working height of 1.20 mm and minimum force of 0.58 N. The contact is manufactured from titanium copper alloy (0.08 mm thick) with a nickel finish (1.5–3.5 µm) and gold plating (0.1 µm on contact area and base flash), delivering a maximum contact resistance of 50 mO and a current rating of 1 A. It is rated for 10,000 mechanical cycles and operates across a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, making it suitable for reliable electrical connections in consumer electronics, telecommunications, and industrial PCB assemblies. The component is supplied in tape and reel format (8,000 units per reel) in accordance with EIA-481-2 standards, facilitating automated pick-and-place assembly.
