DESCRIPTION

The M80-8420242 is a DATAMATE 2 mm pitch horizontal PC tail SIL (Single In-Line) plug assembly with latched design and RoHS compliance. It features phosphor bronze contacts with selective gold plating (0.75 µm gold on contact area with 3 µm 90/10 tin/lead on tails for the 22 finish variant), beryllium copper latches with 1.25 µm nickel plating, and a glass-filled PPS UL94V-0 black moulding body. The connector is rated for 3.0 A maximum at 25 °C and 2.2 A at 85 °C, with a working voltage of 800 V AC/DC and voltage proof of 1200 V AC/DC; contact resistance is 20 mO maximum initially and 25 mO after conditioning, with insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum. This connector is commonly used in modular electronic assemblies, industrial control systems, and applications requiring reliable board-to-board or board-to-cable interconnection with strain relief and secure latching.
