DESCRIPTION

The 1554MPB1 is a Type 4, 4X polycarbonate pushbutton enclosure designed for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components in harsh environments. The enclosure features a single 22 mm hole and measures 3.54 inches in height, 3.54 inches in width, and 2.36 inches in depth with lid. It is constructed from polycarbonate material with a UL94 5V flammability rating, making it suitable for outdoor use, and meets IP66, NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 standards. The gasketed lid is secured with self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws threaded into integral stainless steel bushings, and features a preformed, high-temperature U.L. listed silicone rubber gasket that is replaceable. All hardware is stainless steel to prevent corrosion, and the enclosure is finished in light gray (RAL 7035). This enclosure is ideal for electronic instrument protection in industrial, outdoor, and corrosive environments where reliable sealing and durability are essential.
