DESCRIPTION

The 1455C802BK is a black anodized extruded aluminum enclosure with plastic end panels from Hammond Manufacturing's 1455 Series. It features a rugged aluminum body with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06 inches (1.5 mm) and includes a slide-removable belly plate for easy access. The enclosure is designed with internal slots that allow PC boards to mount horizontally, making it ideal for housing circuit boards and equipment interfacing. It includes two all-plastic end caps and self-adhesive rubber feet for stability. The enclosure is RoHS compliant and comes with #6 x 3/8" steel screws with zinc plate finish. With dimensions of 80 mm length, 54 mm width, and 23 mm depth, this compact enclosure is sized for standard Eurocards and is commonly used in instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and electronic equipment assembly applications.
