DESCRIPTION

M3786/13-0366 is a military-qualified multi-deck rotary switch manufactured by Grayhill, designed to meet MIL-DTL-3786/13 specifications for demanding applications. The switch features a 0.5" diameter with gold-plated contact system, offering multiple angle-of-throw options (30°, 36°, 45°, and 60°) and is rated for 1/4 amp at 115 Vac resistive or 6-28 Vdc resistive operation. Key electrical characteristics include a maximum contact resistance of 50 milliohms after 25,000 cycles, insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms minimum between terminals and shaft, and dielectric strength of 500 Vac at atmospheric pressure. The switch is designed for sealed and unsealed configurations with a non-turn tab feature, and is commonly used in military and aerospace applications where proven reliability and environmental performance are critical requirements.
