DESCRIPTION
LEGEND-SHEET is an insertable legend sheet module designed for Grayhill Series 87 low-profile keypads, enabling economical custom labeling of keypad buttons without costly tooling. The sheet includes self-adhesive, die-cut printed legend inserts with commonly used symbols, terms, and alphanumeric characters (A–Z and 0–99) in News Gothic Condensed type style, printed in black on clear backing, along with blank inserts for dry transfer lettering. Users can easily remove the clear button cap, apply the legend insert, and replace the snap-on cap to customize keyboard modules for prototypes and small production quantities. This solution provides a cost-effective alternative to custom printing or molded-in legends while maintaining the Series 87's reliable snap-dome contact system and low-profile design. The legend sheet is compatible with Series 87 keypads featuring 1 to 6 individual button switches or 12 and 16 button keypads, all maintaining 0.5-inch button centers.
