DESCRIPTION
KEYSET,5BTN is a five-button low-profile keypad module from Grayhill's Series 87 standard keypads, designed for applications requiring reliable button actuation with audible and tactile feedback. The module features a snap-dome contact system with stainless steel, selectively gold-plated contact domes under each button, white ABS plastic buttons with black legends, and a clear polycarbonate snap-on cap. Operating specifications include a button travel of 0.011 inches nominal, typical operating force of 300 grams, operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, and up to 3,000,000 operations per button. The module mounts to PC boards 1/32" to 1/8" thick with 0.5-inch button center spacing, and features phosphor bronze terminals with 0.025-inch square cross-section. This configuration is ideal for control panels, industrial equipment, and consumer electronics where compact, durable keypads with positive user feedback are required.
