DESCRIPTION

The ASM,1BTN,CODE-B is a single-button lightable modular keyboard module from Grayhill's Series 82 line, designed for custom keyboard applications with coded circuitry support. This module features a lightable button with up to 7-bit coded circuit capability, allowing flexible switch configurations and pin location customization to match printed circuit board layouts. The button maintains an 11/16" center spacing consistent with other modular components, supports lamp mounting from either the component side or via easy replacement method, and is compatible with printed circuit boards ranging from 1/16" to 1/8" thick. The module operates with lamp options including 5V bright (0.15 MSCP, 115 mA) or moderate (0.03 MSCP, 60 mA) intensity, with service life ratings up to 100,000 hours depending on lamp selection. This design enables users to build custom keyboards with consistent button spacing and flexible circuit configurations for diverse control applications.
