DESCRIPTION

The 4002 is a wiping contact pushbutton switch featuring SPST normally closed (N.C.) circuitry designed for momentary operation. It is rated for 1 amp at 115 Vac resistive and 1/2 amp at 220 Vac resistive, with an operational life of 100,000 cycles at rated load. The switch incorporates beryllium copper silver-plated contact terminals, a tinned music wire spring, and a brass silver-plated shorting bar, delivering a contact resistance of 25 milliohms or less on new units. With an actuating force of 23 oz. ± 7 and a total travel of 0.110 + 0.010/- 0.020 inches for normally closed operation, this switch operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The 4002 is ideal for control panels, instrumentation, and industrial applications requiring dependable momentary switching with wiping contacts for consistent performance.
