DESCRIPTION

The SA6HA-20 is a 20 dB fixed attenuator designed to reduce signal amplitude in RF/microwave applications operating from DC to 6 GHz. It features SMA male (plug) to SMA female (jack) connectors with a passivated stainless steel body, delivering a typical attenuation of 20 dB with an accuracy of ±0.5 dB and a maximum VSWR of 1.3:1. The device is rated for continuous wave (CW) input power up to 2 watts (derated linearly to 0.2 W at +125°C) and peak power up to 200 watts (5 µs pulse, 0.01% duty cycle), with an operating temperature range of -65°C to +125°C. The SA6HA-20 is commonly used in instrumentation, precision measurements, prototyping, and production systems to protect measurement equipment, extend power meter and amplifier ranges, and improve impedance matching by reducing VSWR in adjacent components.
