DESCRIPTION

The 2867002402 is a multi-aperture ferrite core manufactured by Fair-Rite Products, designed for suppression applications, balun (balance-unbalance) transformers, and broadband transformer designs. This core features a 67 material grade with burnished finish and is controlled for A1 value at high frequencies. The core has a weight of 0.5 g and dimensions of 7 mm (A) × 6.2 mm (B) × 4.2 mm (C) with aperture height of 2.9 mm (E) and wall thickness of 1.7 mm (H). Multi-aperture cores are also employed in airbag designs to prevent accidental activation, making them valuable in safety-critical applications.
