DESCRIPTION

D4C0206N is a ceramic-insulated rotary switch from the D4 Series, featuring 2 poles with 2 to 6 active positions and a 1.437" diameter body. The switch employs a single-ball, hill and valley index mechanism with positive 30° indexing and adjustable stops, delivering a minimum stop strength of 10 in. lbs. Electrically, it is rated for 1.5 amps at 28 VDC (make and break resistive load) with a current carrying capacity of 9 amps, dielectric strength of 1,500 VAC, and average initial contact resistance of 3.5 milliohms. The ceramic insulation provides superior insulation resistance exceeding 1,000,000 megoohms, with an index life of 25,000 cycles minimum. This switch is ideal for applications requiring reliable position selection in control panels, instrumentation, and industrial equipment where durability and precise detenting are essential.
