DESCRIPTION

197614G is a 2-pole thumbwheel switch from EECO's 1976 Series designed to provide Excess 3 code output with complement functionality across 12 switching positions. The switch features a compact 0.350" width to save valuable front panel space, with a tangential operating force of 5-16 Oz. and a minimum mechanical life of 1,000,000 detents at 10 mA and 5 VDC. Electrically, it supports a maximum switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC or 115 VAC, with initial contact resistance of 100 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum at 100 VDC. The switch operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C and features gold over nickel plating on contacts with polycarbonate construction per Federal Spec LP-393A. This switch is ideal for industrial control panels, test equipment, and instrumentation applications requiring precise decimal or binary code selection with space-constrained mounting.
