DESCRIPTION

The S500-4-R is a fast-acting glass tube fuse designed for overcurrent protection in electronic circuits. It is rated for 4A and 250 Vac, with an interrupting rating of 40A at its rated voltage. Key electrical characteristics include a typical DC cold resistance of 0.021 Ω, a maximum voltage drop of 130 mV, and a melting I²t of 22 A²s. Designed to IEC 60127-2 standards and holding numerous agency approvals, this 5 mm x 20 mm fuse is suitable for a wide range of consumer and industrial electronics.
