MLVC06V018C170 is a multilayer varistor general-type ESD suppressor designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from transient voltage spikes and electrostatic discharge events. This device features a working voltage of 18 V with an AC voltage rating of 12.7 V, a typical capacitance of 180 pF, and a peak current rating of 0.1 A, enabling fast response to protect downstream circuits. The varistor absorbs high-energy transient voltages commonly seen in EFT (electrical fast transient) and inductive load switching scenarios, with an energy absorption capability of 44 J/1000 ms at 1 A.
