DESCRIPTION

TPSMA6L12A is an SMD transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage and ESD protection in commercial and industrial applications. It features a standoff voltage of 12 V with a breakdown voltage range of 13 to 14.7 V, and delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600 W using a 10/1000 µs waveform. The device operates with a steady-state power dissipation of 2.5 W at 75°C and a junction temperature range of -50°C to +150°C, providing reliable performance across diverse environmental conditions. With unidirectional clamping, very fast response time, and a low-profile SMAF package (equivalent to DO-221AC), the TPSMA6L12A is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from transient overvoltage events, free-wheeling applications, and ESD-sensitive components in industrial and commercial equipment.
