DESCRIPTION

The P6KE15A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage protection, ESD suppression, and free-wheeling applications. It features a breakdown voltage of 15V (±5% tolerance) with a maximum instantaneous forward voltage of less than 3.5V at 25A. The device delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W with a 10/1000 µs waveform and maintains a steady-state power dissipation of 5W at 75°C ambient temperature. With a very fast response time and operating junction temperature range of -50°C to +175°C, the P6KE15A is ideal for commercial and industrial-grade protection circuits. The diode is packaged in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) case and is compliant with RoHS and REACH standards, making it suitable for modern electronic equipment requiring reliable transient voltage protection.
