DESCRIPTION

515-1351-0800F is a vertical panel mount OPTOPIPE light pipe designed to transmit light from surface mount LEDs to front panel indicators. This flat lens variant features a 0.800 inch (20.32 mm) length and 5mm diameter output, with a diffused textured lens surface for optimal light distribution. The light pipe is precision molded from RoHS compliant UL94-V0 water clear polycarbonate with an oxygen index of 35%, and mounts via a press-fit mechanism through a 0.156 inch (±0.002 inch) diameter hole in panel thicknesses as thin as 0.040 inch (1 mm). Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, this component provides a cost-effective solution for bringing LED indication to front panels in applications requiring parallel PCB-to-panel light transmission, such as instrumentation and control systems.
