DESCRIPTION
515-1306-0625F is a press-fit 3mm reverse mount optical light pipe designed for rear panel mounting with a dimension A of 0.625 inches (15.9mm). The light pipe features a polished surface with SPI AL finish and is available in both water clear and domed diffused finish options to suit various lighting requirements. It incorporates 4 ribs spaced 90° apart with a reference diameter of 0.125 inches (3.2mm) and a nominal outer diameter of 0.150 inches (3.8mm), enabling secure press-fit installation from the rear of the panel by hand or with a plastic tubular insertion tool. The product is compatible with panel thicknesses ranging from 0.040 to 0.093 inches (1 to 2.4mm) for standard applications, with optional optical adhesive available for additional securing after assembly. This light pipe is commonly used in indicator and backlighting applications where compact, reliable optical transmission is required.
