DESCRIPTION

The 515-1108F is a tri-level lightpipe assembly with integrated black lightshields designed for press-fit insertion into printed circuit boards. The component consists of one tri-level lightpipe and two black lightshields inserted into grooves within the lightpipe structure, engineered to work with recommended surface-mount LEDs (single-color or bi-color configurations). The lightpipe is manufactured from clear transmissive polycarbonate material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and is RoHS compliant. Operating and storage temperatures range from -30°C to +100°C, ensuring reliable performance across diverse environmental conditions. This assembly is commonly used in indicator light applications, status displays, and visual feedback systems where efficient light transmission and optical isolation are required.
