DESCRIPTION

The MDS-150AAS24BA is a medical AC-DC adapter designed to deliver 24 Vdc at 6.25 A (150 W) from a universal AC input of 90–264 Vac. It features comprehensive protection mechanisms including overvoltage, overload, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection in hiccup mode, along with 2x MOPP galvanic isolation (4000 Vac input-to-output) for enhanced safety. The unit meets stringent medical and industrial safety standards including IEC 60601-1, IEC 62368-1, and IEC 60601-1-2 4th Edition, with CB certification for worldwide use and a 1 Million Hours MTBF rating. Key performance characteristics include ±5% total output regulation, 240 mV pk-pk ripple and noise at full load, and low touch current of 0.1 mA (normal) and 0.3 mA (single fault condition). This adapter is ideal for medical device applications, industrial automation, and other regulated environments requiring reliable, certified power delivery with minimal leakage current and robust fault protection.
