DESCRIPTION

FLPVA50B100 is a flameproof vertical float switch designed for dual-level liquid level detection in hazardous and aggressive environments. Manufactured from Stainless Steel 316L material, it features a single float configuration that provides high (make on rise) and low (make on fall) level indications for alarm and control systems. The switch is externally screw-mounted via a G1¼" BSP thread without requiring internal tank access, and operates at a maximum pressure of 10 bar with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +79°C. With an upper level setting of 50 mm and lower level setting of 100 mm (total length 140 mm), it delivers a switching power of 10 VA maximum at 200 V AC or 120 V DC with a maximum switching current of 0.4 A. The unit is ATEX-certified (Ex db IIB T6 Ga/Gb, Ex tb IIIB T85°C Db) for use in Zones 1 and 2, features IP66 protection, and includes a 3-meter PUR-sheathed cable with tinned copper conductors, making it ideal for tank level monitoring in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and hygienic applications.
