DESCRIPTION

CWR-130-16-0000 is a 16-contact DIP connector featuring insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology designed for reliable flat cable termination. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with 10 µin. gold plating over 50 µin. nickel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. It features 0.175" terminal posts compatible with standard DIP sockets having 0.100" x 0.300" or 0.100" x 0.600" contact spacing, and is constructed with UL 94V-0 flame-retardant glass-filled thermoplastic insulation and tin-plated steel strain relief. Operating across -55°C to +125°C with a maximum current rating of 1 A per contact and dielectric withstand voltage exceeding 500 VDC, this connector is ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring secure, cost-effective cable connections.
