DESCRIPTION
GFTAX-5 is a 5-terminal screw-type terminal block from Curtis Industries' GFT series, designed for industrial electrical connections with superior construction and precision-machined brass inserts molded in place. The block features a 7/16" (11.11 mm) center-to-center spacing, accepts wire sizes from No. 22AWG to No. 12AWG, and is rated for 20 amps at 300 volts (CSA) or 600 volts (Limited Energy Applications per UL). The housing is constructed from black thermo-set phenolic material with a continuous use temperature rating of 150°C (302°F) and UL 94 HB flammability rating, providing durability and break resistance. With No. 8-32 plated steel external screw terminals and a tightening torque specification of 9 in.-lb., this terminal block is ideal for sub-chassis, thru-panel, and printed circuit board applications requiring reliable electrical distribution and component interconnection in industrial and commercial environments.
