DESCRIPTION

The 222ADVBA is a compact tactile switch from CTS Corporation's Series 222A line, featuring a 6.2 x 6.2mm form factor with surface mount gull-wing terminal configuration and vertical actuation. It delivers excellent tactile feedback with a contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 100 Megohms minimum between terminals. The switch supports multiple operating force options (100, 160, or 260 gf), a travel distance of 0.25mm, and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C. It is compatible with IR reflow, wave, and manual soldering processes, features silver-coated terminals for superior solderability, and is RoHS compliant with UL94V-0 rated high-temperature materials. This switch is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices requiring reliable tactile feedback in a compact footprint.
