DESCRIPTION

The PLA134S is a single-pole normally open OptoMOS relay that provides optically isolated switching with 3750V rms input-to-output isolation. It features a blocking voltage of 400V peak, continuous load current capability of 150mA (AC/DC configuration) or 250mA (DC configuration), and a maximum on-resistance of 22O in AC/DC mode or 7O in DC mode. The device uses a GaAlAs infrared LED for control and offers fast, bounce-free switching with turn-on time of 1ms and turn-off time of 0.5ms, eliminating the need for mechanical relays. With no moving parts, it provides superior reliability and is suitable for telecommunications, modem switching, instrumentation, data acquisition, and electronic switching applications where arc-free operation and compact packaging are required.
