DESCRIPTION

The 83862001 is an industrial limit switch featuring independent snap action contact operation with a four-terminal double break contact element (form Zb) providing 1 NO + 1 NC configuration with positive opening and electrically isolated moving contacts. It is rated for an assigned insulation voltage (Ui) of 500 V, thermal rating (Ith) of 10 A, and use category A300 - Q300, with AC15 capability of 6 A at 250 V and 1.9 A at 380 V, and DC13 capability of 3 A at 24 V. The switch features a steel plunger actuator with adjustable control mechanism in 4 positions at 90° intervals, minimum operating force of 10 N, minimum positive opening travel of 6 mm, and mechanical life of 15 million operations over a temperature range of -25°C to +80°C (use) and -40°C to +80°C (storage). With IP 66 degree of protection, 1/2" NPT connection, and compliance with EN 50041, IEC 947-5-1, UL 508, and CSA standards, this switch is ideal for industrial automation, machinery safety interlocks, and process control applications requiring reliable positive break operation.
